Main House
El Coyote, the main house at Rancho South was designed by Swiss trained Architects
and photographers Christian & Regula Heeb. It is located within the Ventana
Bay Resort, on the southern tip of Baja California, south of La Paz, Mexico,
overlooking Ventana Bay.
The environmentally friendly house with concrete floors consists of a full
kitchen with refrigerator, stove and cooking utensils. It has an open floor
layout with a bar counter top and double sliding doors opening to the palapa
covered deck. The generously sized bathroom with a walk in shower is located
in the round stone tower.
A separate bedroom is equipped with an open shelf storage space, a queen size
bed with clean down standard weight comforter and 100% organic cotton sheets.
All towels are 100% organic cotton. A ceiling vent plus cross ventilating windows
make sure you get a nice breeze to cool you even in the warm summer months.
The bedroom sliding doors open to the palapa lounge area.
Enjoy our large palapa shaded deck which is on three sides of the house for
dining and lounge area and hammocks. From the upstairs rooftop sitting area
you can enjoy the beautiful views over Ventana Bay.
All of Rancho South is solar powered and the gray water is used for gardening.
The House is surrounded by native vegetation consisting of various cacti, elephant
trees, palo verde trees among other plant species. Desert and migratory birds
can be observed around the house.
Initial and final cleaning and weekly maid service is included in the rental
price. Laundry and Internet service as well as sporting packages are for an
additional charge available at La Ventana Bay Resort. The walk to the beach
takes 5 minutes through Ventana Bay Resort.
