The Casita

The Casita is a unit which consists of one bedroom, open shelf storage space and a full bathroom. The bedroom has a queen size bed with clean down standard weight comforter and 100% organic cotton satin sheets. There is a ceiling vent centered over the bed in the brick dome and cross windows for cooling.

The bathroom has a Mexican talavera (tile) sink and an open walk-in shower.

A palapa (thatched roof made of dried palm leaves) shades the front porch.

The one bedroom unit is located beside the main house with a beautiful view over the Sea of Cortez. The Casita can be rented individually.

A 5-minutes walk brings you through the Ventana Bay Resort to the Beach. Beach chairs, kayaks and mountain bikes as well as a full sports package can be rented from VBR for the duration of your stay. Make reservations in advance.

Initial and final cleaning plus weekly maid service is included in the rental price. Laundry and Internet service is for an additional charge available at Ventana Bay Resort.

Ventana Bay Resort has a Restaurant El Cisco, at which you can arrange for all your meals if you book in advance. Restaurants are available in La Ventana and El Sargente, the nearby town.
La Paz, 45 minutes away, has many fine dining establishments and an abundance of nightlife opportunities.

Rancho South is at a very secluded part of Southern Baja California. If you are looking for a quiet place to have your peace and solitude, this is an excellent place to make your vacation.
