The activities at Rancho South vary from simply reading a book while hanging in the hammock, enjoying the peace and quiet of Ventana Bay, or taking your binoculars out to observe the abundant bird life.

Or, if you prefer a more active adventure, swim and snorkel in the turquoise blue waters of the Sea of Cortez, or paddle a kayak out to watch the dolphins and sea birds.

And if you want to join the really adventurous crowd, Ventana Bay is famous for consistent winds that blow during the winter months. Windsurfing, Kite boarding, and Scuba Diving are the focus of the windy winter month. Kayaks, Mountain Bikes and Beach Chairs are also available. During the summer months there is a good variety and quantity of fish found in the Ventana Bay. Fishing trips can be arranged through Ventana Bay Resort.
